市政Shanghai CPPCC members visit East Suburb Equestrian Club
On the afternoon of February 24, the Shanghai Committee of Culture, Health and Sports of the CPPCC organized some members to carry out sports activities in the eastern suburbs Qingqing Equestrian Club. Municipal CPPCC Standing Committee, director of the Culture, Health and Sports Committee, Director of the Municipal market Supervision Bureau Chen Xuejun participated in the event.
Chairman Tao Xiaodong led the members to visit Shanghai East Suburb Qingqing Equestrian Club. Qingqing Equestrian is an equestrian cultural sports park that gathers the equestrian cultural industry, pays attention to the popularization of equestrian sports for children and teenagers, promotes the cultivation of equestrian sports industry talents, creates brand influence, and integrates sports, culture, life and leisure.
The committee members exchanged speeches on topics such as how to deepen the development of the sports industry. Members were of the view that sport itself was closely linked to culture and was a very important part of it. In particular, they proposed that it is necessary to stimulate the cultivation of young people's positive, united and tenacious sportsmanship, and give play to the positive educational role of sports for young people. The members also mentioned that sports play a huge role in expanding residents' consumption and fostering new forms of business, and suggested that sports play a role in stabilizing the economy, promoting consumption and stimulating vitality, guiding the diversified development of the sports industry, building a Shanghai model of sports industry and sports consumption, and contributing to the construction of Shanghai into a world famous sports city.
