On April 28, Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Shanghai-based China State Shipbuilding Group, broke through the haze of the epidemic and received a large order for six liquefied natural gas vessels. Just three days ago, the shipbuilding company officially resumed production, more than 3,400 employees returned to work, and the shipyard was in full swing.
Huidong Zhonghua Changxing Shipbuilding Base undertakes the tasks of installation, mooring test and delivery of LNG carriers. In order to realize the resumption of work and production as soon as possible, Shanghai East China firmly promoted the resumption of work and production on the basis of strictly implementing the relevant measures of enterprise epidemic prevention and control, and fully implementing the network closed management of "one person, one space", and determined that 6 projects of Type 4 key products in Changxing Shipbuilding Base would resume work first.
In order to ensure the safety of epidemic prevention and the orderly progress of key projects, before the resumption of work and production, Huidong Zhonghua comprehensively explored the difficult and blocked points, constantly tested the pressure and improved measures, made all-round preparations for the resumption of work and production, and controlled the whole process of employees' entry into the park, post operation and dining norms.
The primary task for the resumption of production at Hudong Zhonghua Changxing Shipbuilding Base is to ensure that the two 80,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas vessels complete the gas trial and completion delivery as planned. At present, the first ship of the project has entered the final stage of completion and is scheduled to be delivered in May. Ship 2 is scheduled to start gas trial within a week after the resumption of production, break through the last hurdle before delivery, and strive to be delivered together with the first ship in late May.
The reporter learned from the interview that Jiangnan Shipbuilding and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, which are both in Shanghai with Hudong Zhonghua, are also carrying out stress tests to prepare for the resumption of work and production. (Reporter Jia Yuankun)
